Known as "The Mother Road" U.S. Route 66 originally ran from Chicao, Illinois, through Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New MExico, Arizona, and California, before ending at Los Angeles for a total of 2,448 miles. Famous for its mid-20th century roadside motels and their neon signs, other noteworthy attractions include - Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, TX, the Blue Whale of Catoosa, OK, The Wigwam Motel in Holbrook, AZ and tons of other fabulous sites along the way!
